Supporting Your Child, Supporting Yourself

Choose the level of support that fits now.

One-off parent/carer session — a focused conversation to make sense of what is happening, consider how to respond, and leave with practical next steps.

Three-session pathway — steadier support across three meetings: understanding the situation and immediate priorities; communication, regulation and support at home; then a review and forward plan.

This support is for parents and carers. It is not emergency or crisis care, does not replace medical assessment, and cannot provide diagnosis or treatment. If there is immediate danger, call 999 or go to A&E. For urgent mental-health help in England, call NHS 111 and select the mental health option. Samaritans: 116 123. You can also contact your child’s GP or local NHS urgent mental-health service. Existing self-help tools are optional resources, not a requirement.

To ask about a one-off session or three-session pathway, email lauren@woveningold.co.uk with the subject “Parent support”. Please do not include detailed or identifiable information in your first message.
